I wanted to write a blog post about the instagram/Facebook/one billion dollars malarky, despite having neither an instagram nor Facebook account, nor indeed one billion dollars. I wanted to tie this into some general musings about my attitude to social networking on the internet and why I continue to rate Flickr so highly as a constructive network, but I am so far behind the times that this task proved beyond me.
